Failure to get a regulation win against a worthless team like KC is unacceptable.  Particullary given that Dir used his best lineup (Minus Jordan).   If this kind of performance continues, not only will the Burn not get homefield advantege but they will go out in 2 versus LA.

Graziani (Dade 80)

Pareja (Alavanja 46)

Santel (Trellez 74)

It was very nice to see Lazo get on the field,  Dir needs to play more of the youth in this stretch.  Unless of course he really is going to try and get into second place.

The Burn 11 vs. New England Sept. 24th

New England is crap, yet they are dangerous crap.  IF we don't play strong defense, Joe-Max Moore will steal a win.  This could be a good game to give LAzo a full 90 and Pareja a rest.  Santel should also sit down, let Broome try to take advantage of the slow Rev defense.

Still would like to see a 4-4-2 damn it.

Probable Rev LineupRevolution

This is a team battling for the playoffs with time running out.   They need a win badly and will come out scrapping.  Walter Zenga is hurt, but could play.  Keep an eye out for Jamar Beasley a fantastic 19 year old who will likely come off the bench.  Zenga has run out some different lineups lately so don't be surprised to see Ivan McKinley, Imad Baba, or Carlos Para on the field.

3rd Degree's 4-4-2

With Alvarez gone this makes even more sense.  Rather than seeing Eck on the field or going with the rookie Lazo (who does deserve a shot) the 4-4-2 fits into our talent and depth.  Using Dir's choises

The 3-5-2 of next season...

Dir loves a 3-5-2... So if he's still here we predict the following...

Kreis

Graziani

Pareja/Lazo

Lazo/Broome

Deering

Zarco

Daniv

Pollard

Farrer New Rightback

Jordan

We think Dir cuts or trades Trellez and/or Dodd for a right back, maybe by draft.   Zarco plays D-mid like he did later in some recent games.  Lazo or Broome on the Wing, 3rd Degree predicts Lazo either starts on the wing or begins to get a lot of Playing time in center-mid.  Keep in mind there will be another first round pick. Santel and Eck will either retire or ride the pine.

Another possibility is that Farrer returns to right back and Dir finds a new sweeper.
