3rd Degree's Man of the Match was Ariel Graziani
, he worked
hard all game. The dummy on Jason's goal was first rate and he should have had an
assist on the play, regardless of weather he touched the ball or not. Chad Deering's
play continues to be first rate. Ted Eck works hard but his touch is still brutal.
Sergi Daniv seems to be very frustrated about something. His pay is off and
he gives up a little too quickly.
Overall the front three are really clicking, and the defense has been good, but problems remain. Still too many a-leaguers on the pitch and Zarco on the bench. Both of the can be addressed and hopefully will be soon, but the Burn is winning so there can't be too may complaints.
The Revs are much better than last year. Rusty Pierce is fantastic for a 20 year old, good enough in fact to keep Mike Burns out of the lineup. Ted Chronopoulos was troublesome as well. Which doesn't bode well for the LA trip as the Gals are much better at this same tactic of getting defenders forward.
Harkes was terrible, with Ramos out they don't have many options. Texas Boy Johnny Torres is finally coming into his own and the other native son Imad Baba is back into shape after a year missed due to injury.
